The set contains three different brushes:
- The first brush is a dense dry texture, it is good for establishing a base or adding extra density to your texture.
- The second brush is a bit less dense and has more wrinkles – works good for necks and other soft surfaces on your creature’s body.
- The third one is a bulky texture. It works good contrasted with the first brush.
For the best use and the most control first work in gray scale and introduce colors later. Forget blend modes such as Overlay, Screen and Multiply. For manipulating texture tones use your Dodge and Burn tools — it is a whole different ballgame.
Introduce saturation or hue variety in the halftone using a color layer.
For extra details use the default pressure sensitive soft brush, or with noise added.
